Gail Cocciardi, 56, West Harrison Device Developer

WEST HARRISON, N.Y. – Gail M. Paradiso Cocciardi of West Harrison died July 22. She was 56. 

Cocciardi was director of new development at Enabling Devices in Hawthorne. 

Born June 11, 1956 in Yonkers, she was the daughter of John and Helen Ciardullo Paradiso. She graduated from Sleepy Hollow High School and attended Westchester Community College. In 1976, she married Edward P. Cocciardi. 

Before joining Enabling Devices, she worked as a teacher at St. Agnes Children's Rehab Center in White Plains Center for 30 years. Cocciardi loved to travel, especially to Paradise Island, Bahamas. She also enjoyed beading and making jewelry. 

Cocciardi is survived by her husband, Edward; a son, Nicholas; two brothers-in-law, Donald (Patty) and Patrick (Kendra); and many cousins and friends. 

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Coffey Funeral Home in Tarrytown. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson.
